The final document urges all United Nations member states to strengthen multilateral cooperation mechanisms as the basis for global peace. The approved Turkmen proposal is seen as reflecting collective efforts to reinforce the universality and supremacy of international law norms and principles enshrined in the UN Charter. These principles were described as fundamental pillars underpinning the contemporary international order.
