Turkmenistan and UAE agreed to develop economic ties

Turkmenistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, during his visit to Abu Dhabi, held a meeting with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who holds the positions of Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, as well as Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE. This was reported by the press service of Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the negotiations, the parties analyzed the achieved results and identified areas for further development of bilateral relations in the political-diplomatic and trade-economic dimensions.
Priority attention was given to intensifying the implementation of large-scale joint projects, primarily in the energy and transport-logistics sectors. In this context, the necessity of developing an economic cooperation program between the two countries was emphasized.
The parties also discussed current issues on the regional and international agenda.
